Redeemer Lutheran Church has been building on our partnerships with the Northside’s other Lutheran churches for several years, with an ambition to spread the type of programming, entrepreneurship, and creative engagement we do to these other locations.
Core partner congregations include River of Life, Christ English and Salem Lutheran.
PROMISE ZONE
In 2015, North Minneapolis became one of 22 federally recognized Promise Zones across the United States. In sync with and expanding on Redeemer’s work of the past two decades, the Minneapolis Promise Zone (MPZ) supports a comprehensive, community-driven revitalization strategy that builds on numerous initiatives to address the persistent unemployment, crime, housing blight, and poor educational outcomes that affect the area.
